Won Lee
Biography
Won Lee studied at Johnson State College, Vermont, USA (M.F.A) and Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, USA (B.F.A). Since graduating, his work has participated in numerous solo exhibitions internationally: Europe, Korea, China, Mexico, USA, and Canada. His large works are included in private and corporate collections: The Presidential Palace, DR Congo; The Pride of the Valley Sculpture Park, UK; Macay Museum, Yucatan; Bicentenniel Pk, Toluca; Fort Canning national Pk, Singapore; Mosan Museum Sculpture Park, Korea; Peter Gray Museum, University of Guadalajara; John State College, USA. Lee serves as a Board Member for the following: Peter Grey Museum, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Advisor of Zwolle International Sculpture Space, Zwolle, Netherlands; Vermont Studio Center, Vermont, USA. He established the Won Lee Fine Art Award, OCAD University, Toronto; and the Won Lee Challenged Artist Fellowship for Tangled Art of Canada.

Image of Time…
A form yet to be born,
A form that destroyed itself, moved on and found its freedom,
A form that was incorporealized,
A form that speaks beyond its own language,
A form that has too much speed,
A form impregnated with time,
An image of time.
