Artist Statement
I strive for a fundamental authenticity in my work – a core connectedness to an image, an expression of an idea or a feeling that can communicate something real both to me and to the viewer.
The power of a nuanced gesture to evoke a multi-layered and highly individual response continues to engage and fascinate me. Sometimes the smallest piece conveys the greatest intent and the strongest biggest idea.
