JUDY RAYMER IVKOFF

Biography

Ivkoff trained at the Ontario College of Art; Banff School of Fine Art; Positano School of Art, Italy; Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and at Central Technical School, Toronto.

Her work has participated in numerous exhibitions in Ontario and Quebec. She was elected into the SSC in 1995.  Her work is included in corporate and private collections in Canada, USA, UK, France and China. Ivkoff’s practice is based in Toronto.

Artist Statement

I work intuitively.  I am expressionistic and individualistic in both my means and methods.  My subject matter centres on elements of the natural physical environment within the context of movement, order, time, energy, rhythm and regeneration.  The materials I use are wood, stone, clay, and metals and are worked in various combinations.
